Tasks and Work Orders

Managing a group of technicians can sometimes get complicated. In order to make your job as easy as possible, the Tasks and Work Orders module allows you to better organize your many projects, as well as schedule and assign technicians to them. All stages of a work order can be documented to keep track of when it’s completed, when it’s billed, and when it’s closed. Having a history of each work order allows you to organize and track schedules, history, and labor.

Inventory Management

Contractors work with a slew of parts and equipment in their inventory, and having to keep up with all of the parts, fixtures, equipment, and more becomes a job in itself. EBMS contains robust inventory tools to help you organize your inventory and maintain pricing and stock levels. Detailed purchasing history allows you to quickly view vendor history, part numbers, and pricing for your inventory. Scanning and barcode tools enables you to manage and access your inventory quickly and accurately.

Serialized Items

Pumps, appliances, HVAC units, and other equipment needed for your business can be managed as serialized items. Purchasing and sales of serialized items can be recorded for warranty or service purposes. Work orders can be attached to serialized items in order to manage the service history of that item.

Job Costing

As a business, you most likely have a lot of jobs coming in and out of your office. You can monitor all of these jobs from beginning to end easily in EBMS. Job costs, budgets, and progress billing can all be managed in the Job Costing module. Flexible billing includes contract billing, AIA billing, and time & material billing. Jobs can be managed from start to finish with the Job Costing module in EBMS.

Back Office Management

EBMS is an ERP solution that includes robust accounting. All of the business management tools are linked directly to the General Ledger, giving you quick access to hundreds of reports to allow you to see an accurate picture of your bottom line. Our General Ledger module allows transactions from sales, expenses, payroll, and journal entries to be compared together to give an idea of the company’s financial status. You can budget, generate and print reports, and complete all other accounting tasks with this module.
